Potomac Craftsmen Fiber Gallery is a co-operative association of approximately 70 fiber artist from the metropolitan area. Washington's first fiber art gallery opened its door in 1974 as an original occupant of the Torpedo Factory Art Center. New juried shows are installed every four to six weeks. There is a wide variety of original work which includes jewelry, handbags, and scarves, also woven, knitted, crocheted items, hand-dyed/painted fiber, handmade paper, sculptures and a variety of other innovative art work. Always a visual delight.
