Built in 1926 by Shriners as their Acca Temple Shrine, Richmond’s Landmark Theater is one of Richmond's most well-known and unusual buildings. Many of America’s greatest entertainers have appeared on stage beneath its towering minarets and desert murals.

The Landmark hosts a variety of events including Broadway, symphony, ballet, children’s theater, lectures, concerts, school commencements, fashion shows and the Richmond Forum. Known for its excellent acoustics, the Landmark has seating for 3,565, and boasts the largest proscenium stage on the East Coast. The facility is accessible to persons with disabilities and hearing impaired; Ballroom capacity of 1,000; seated capacity of 600.
