Built in 1920 by Mr.C.M Shannon, this Craftsman period Foursquare house is one of the crown jewels of the Mt. Jackson historic district.

With 6000 square feet of gallery and multi-purpose spaces, the BSCAC offers the highest level of innovation as a venue for the creation and presentation of the arts.

In addition to providing teaching and practice facilities for community arts and education programs, the BSCAC also offers private studio spaces in which professional artists can create, develop and showcase their craft.

With graceful hardwood floors, working fireplaces, multiple art galleries and aesthetic charm throughout, the Bowman-Shannon Cultural Arts Center is also the ideal venue for weddings, corporate meetings and social gatherings of all types.
