Vpstart Crow Productions, Northern Virginia’s only professional theatre company west of Arlington, was founded in 1993 by Timothy Shaw and Joyce Peifer. Vpstart Crow is committed to producing live theatre as a vital, accessible and exciting part of community life. Employing a resident company of regional professional performers and artists of the highest caliber, Vpstart Crow is dedicated to breaking down the barriers between audience and actors in a performance style that is lively, thought provoking and altogether vpstartling. Producing the works of William Shakespeare and other time-honored playwrights both classical and contemporary, Vpstart Crow presents five plays each year in the Cramer Center, a restored church in the heart of Old Town Manassas.
