Wm Mason II Violin Shop is located in the Historic Farmers Creamery building where ice cream, popsicles, butter etc. were produced until the mid-20th century.
Bill Mason is a professional luthier trained in the Cremona Style of violin making. We take great pride in providing the same classic craftsmanship and quality that has been passed down from master to master dating back to Antonius Stradivarius (1644-1737). We build, repair and restore violins, violas, cellos and bass as well as rehair and repair bows.
Shop tours are available for you to see what goes into making an instrument. Here's a hint: physics & chemistry.
Admission Fee: Shop Tours: $5 per person, Seniors and under 8 free. Group Tours based on size.
