Join A. Wilson Greene and guest guides as we begin our Sesquicentennial exploration of the decisive Petersburg Campaign of 1864. Our tour itinerary includes the familiar sites associated with the opening six months of the contest for Petersburg, such as the capture of Battery 5 and the infamous battle of the Crater. But we will also venture off the beaten path to study the armies' movements across the James toward Petersburg, the Second, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Union offensives, and the combat associated with the cavalry action in late June. If you have always wanted to understand what happened around Petersburg in 1864, this is the tour for you! Our program begins Thursday evening and concludes Sunday by 5:00 p.m. Registration fees are per person and cover lectures, tours, hotel Thursday through Saturday nights, one dessert reception, three breakfasts, three lunches, and two dinners, including tax and gratuity.
Admission Fee: $664
