The Historic Urbanna Christmas House Tour - It's all about Christmas, Urbanna Style! Twinkling lights, carols, decorated store-fronts, the shops dressed in their festive best and local restaurants primes and ready for the occasion, especially right now when the famous Rappahannock River Oyster is at it's mouthwatering best. Look for special open houses at several of the boutiques and galleries and wine tasting at "Taste of Urbanna" all right in the heart of this historic harbor town on Virginia Street.
Houses will feature Landsdowne, one of Virginia’s finest early Georgian-style mansions and believed to have been built as early as 1750 and was home of Authur Lee, a prominent member of Virginia’s Lee family. Williamson House, James Scottish Mill Factory, James Ross River Plantation, Fort Nonsense, Historic Middlesex County Courthouse and the Urbanna United Methodist Church. This is an exciting opportunity to tour all of these historic homes in their holiday best! Each house will be decked out for the holidays and you will be able to come inside to see the festive living history.
Admission Fee: $15.00 for advanced tickets, $20.00 the day of the tour.
