Harrisonburg Tourism & Visitor Services is located in the historic Hardesty-Higgins House Visitor Center. Open 7 days a week, visitors have access to local, regional and state travel information. Visitors will find a wide array of brochures, maps, event lists, and special information. Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway guides, as well as information on Civil War travel throughout the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields National Historic District. Also located in the Visitor Center is the Valley Turnpike Museum, highlighting regional history, the Civil War Orientation Center, the Rocktown Gift Shoppe and Mrs. Hardesty's Tea Room.
