The mission of the Scottsville's visitor center & chamber of commerce is to provide a welcoming environment and tourist information resources for visitors to the Town of Scottsville and Greater Scottsville area - we are located in the town's old jail building behind the town police office at corner of Main (Rte 6) & Valley St (Rte 20).

Our center will begin operation starting Friday Memorial Day weekend 2014 and will be open regularly during the following hours throughout the summer/fall:

Saturdays: 10am-4pm

Sundays: 10am-4pm

When we are not open there will be a container by the front door where visitors can find a pamphlet on local tourist info and some of the most popular brochures for our area - we will also include state maps

Please note that you may park in the lot to the right of the visitor center behind the Coleman's Outdoors brick building - you may also park across the street in the Farmers Market Pavilion parking - there you will also find public bathrooms which are handicap accessible - while we do have a public restroom, because of the original jail cell bars, our bathroom is NOT wheelchair accessible - we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!
