Chateau MerrillAnne

Our tasting room, a renovated barn, offers a rustic charm and cozy feel. We offer complete wine tastings, wine by the glass and wine by the bottle. The barn renovation was completed using many recycled materials. The window on the right offers a view of the Barrel Room. Our venue facility is perfect for small weddings, family gatherings and corporate events. The 2012 version of our signature Bordeaux blend features 60 % Merlot and 40% Malbec. This elegant, rich red wine is ideally suited with beef or grilled vegetables. The finish has a spice earthiness, followed by a touch of toasty oak. Our barrel fermented Chardonnay is a smooth, premium quality Chardonnay. A small amount of Cayuga is added to enhance the aromatics. The result is a big white wine that is smooth on the palate. This classic white blend of Seyval and Cayuga is fruit forward and offers a citrusy freshness and light minerality. Notes of citrus and fruit are followed by a pleasantly long finish. An extremely versatile and food friendly wine. The nose of this 100% Chambourcin blush is very fruity with the fragrance of ripe red fruit bursting through. The wine exhibits flavors that are reminiscent of fresh raspberries with a smooth finish.
