Founded in 2007, Virginia Wineworks produces wines under the Virginia Wineworks label, as well as the nationally recognized, Michael Shaps label. Michael Shaps offers tasters highly refined, small lot wines, crafted from single vineyard sites in Virginia. Under the Wineworks label, we produce value-oriented wines, where we have pioneered lower price, high quality wines as Virginia's only bag-in-box producer. Guests pass through our production facilities on the way to our tasting bar, so each tasting is a "behind the scenes" tour. Wineworks is a working winery, with a no-nonsense, no-frills, all-about-the-wine attitude. Unlike anything else you've seen in VA!
