    If you are a race fan, or if you just like an exciting atmosphere, Martinsville Speedway should be the center of your October universe. The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup makes its only stop in the Commonwealth on Oct. 27th for the Goody's Fast Relief 500. It’s a weekend of excitement with the Kroger 200 Truck Series race on Oct. 26th and Pole Day on Oct. 25th. The Late Model Stock cars will rule the track with the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 on Oct. 6. It is the biggest, richest and most exciting NASCAR Late Model race in the nation.
