Re-enactors dress in period attire and provide ongoing demonstrations that guests take part in. Learn how clothing was made from breaking flax to spinning wool. See how candles were made from beeswax. Learn about three-sister stew and how the bread oven was used. Stand by the fire of the salt pot and help stir the pot. Visit the blacksmith to see his latest creation. Find out what settlers used for blankets as the longhunter shows you how to tan a hide. This free program is great for families.
