Kennedy gravesite and the Challenger Space Shuttle memorial are also located here, as well as the Arlington House, the pre-Civil War home of Robert E. Lee.

Make your pilgrimage to the "shopper's Mecca" -- the Fashion Center at Pentagon City, which features 170 nationally-known stores and 7 full-service restaurants; Or visit what some call the "Ralph Lauren of pet boutiques" and discover what treats a.k.a. Spot – The Pet Shop has for your favorite furry friend. They even offer a doggie self-wash!

For a sure way to keep your feet busy, check out walkable communities like Crystal City, Arlington’s largest downtown with an abundance of fine eats and some of the area’s largest hotels, Shirlington, the place to go for dinner and a show, and Rosslyn, where you can enjoy monumental views of Washington D.C.
