Historic Richmond locations in the films include: the Virginia State Capitol, which is used primarily as the White House in many films; Belle Isle, the notorious Civil War prison camp; Richmond National Battlefield Park; the Civil War Visitors Center at Tredegar Iron Works; Church Hill, the oldest historic intact neighborhood in the city that contains the most antebelum structures; and the beautiful Jefferson Hotel.
