Richmond's holiday scene is merry and bright, and it's not just because it's on the 100 Miles of Lights tour!

Day 1
Richmond is a family-friendly city with lots to do anytime of year, but the holidays are really special! The city is aglow with twinkling lights ... it's magical. Take in the sights at
Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens' Children's Garden. Even in winter, it's a special place for kids. Their
GardenFest of Lights is quite a treat if you're visiting at dusk.
Maymont is 100 acres of gorgeous.
Tour the mansion, walk the gardens and visit the Children's Farm. The photo opportunities are immense at both of these treasured sites, so bring the camera!

Day 2
Tour the area today with Segway of Richmond Tours. It's family-friendly fun and definitely do-able for children who weigh at least 80lbs. There are several options to choose from to take in the best of the historical sites in the time you have available. Discover even more fun at the Children's Museum of Richmond. Who knows? You might make it in time to see Legendary Santa. His schedule is unannounced to keep the spirit of Christmas magical for the kids, so his arrival is anyone's guess!
Ice skating amid the tall buildings of downtown at night is a magical experience. Don't miss out!

Day 3
Have a little shopping left to do? My, oh my, does Richmond have some of the hottest shopping to be had.
Carytown, Richmond's "Mile of Style", is boutique to the max! If you want something original, hard to find or capable of invoking an "ooh la la" from your recipient, this is the place to find it. See the
other shopping opportunities in the greater Richmond area.
