  • A Taste of the Virginia Wine Experience.

Every glass of Virginia wine tells a unique story. Whether it’s paired with a kayak wine tasting adventure on the Eastern Shore or breathtaking mountain sunsets in the Blue Ridge Mountains, local bluegrass shows on Main Street or on the grounds of a historic site, these stories are what transform a simple glass of wine into a Virginia wine experience. Follow your passion for travel, and wine, to Virginia wineries and discover a local flavor only found in Virginia.

Virginia is a wine destination unlike any other with 280 wineries, dozens of wine trails surrounded by lavish scenery, breathtaking views, quaint small towns and monumental historic sites.

Wine trails allow aficionados to sip their way across the Commonwealth and experience everything from Albarino to Viognier. Be sure to include an exclusive winemaker's dinner or festival to your trail pursuit. Or, happen upon live music and hot air balloon rides.

Stretch your stay a day or two longer when you book a travel package. Packages include winery visits, at least one night of accommodations, and frequently, meals, discounts and extra goodies.

Many of Virginia's wineries allow pets on their patio or designated outdoor areas. Vaccinated, friendly, and leashed dogs are welcome outside, just not in tasting rooms.  Due to the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) law, pets must remain outside the tasting room at all times. Dogs must kept on a leash or within a pet carrier and under the control of their owner at all times.

Please designate a driver. Enjoy Virginia wine responsibly.
