Wallops Island - Jun 23-28 and Jul 7-12, 2013 - Kids ages 10-12 are invited to have a week-long adventure! The Budding Marine Biologist Summer Camp explores barrier island environments, with hands-on organism observations and interactive lab sessions. Wallops Island - Jun 30 - Jul 5, 2013 - Junior Marine Biologist - Dangerous Creatures and Ocean Predators Camp. Throughout the week, we will explore areas of Marine Biology and Coastal Ecology and determine what it takes to survive the jaws and talons of some of nature’s most finely tuned predators. For ages 13-15.
Wallops Island - Jul 14-19, 2013 - Junior Marine Biologist - Focus on Fishes This program is for the Jr. Marine Biologist who has a particular interest in the watery world of fishes. There’s nothing fishy about this great opportunity! Ages 13-15.
Wallops Island - Jul 21-26, 2013 - Junior Marine Biologist - Coastal Mammals - During this camp, participants will learn the basics of mammalogy and how mammals survive and interact in the coastal and marine habitats of Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Ages 13-15.
Wallops Island - Jul 28 - Aug 2, 2013 - Paddle through areas only accessible by kayak, including salt marshes, secluded beaches and more during this week long adventure in environmental interpretation called the Kayaking Coastal Oceanography- Summer Camp for ages 13-18. There is a beginner's camp and one for intermediate kayakers.
Wallops Island - Jul 14-19, 2013 - If you're between 16 and 18 and fish fascinate you, the Ichthyology: Study of Fish Summer Camp is just what you're looking for!
Wallops Island - Jul 28-Aug 2, 2013 - Intermediate Kayaking Camp - Embark on a week of kayaking that will put you up close and personal with the diverse ecology that the Atlantic coastal shore has to offer; including flora and fauna of the salt marshes, brackish bays, cypress swamps, and secluded beaches. Ages 13-18.
Wallops Island - Aug 11-14, 2013 - This is a three-day Budding Marine Biologist Summer Camp, still for 10-12 year olds and with the same fun!
Wallops Island - Aug 12-16, 2013 - Kids ages 12 to 15 are invited to the Coastal Studies Day Camp, an opportunity to explore the habits of the Eastern Shore. Lunch and snacks included. Space limited.
Wallops Island - Aug 16-18 and Oct 11-14, 2013 - The Boy Scout Weekend at the Marine Science Consortium is an opportunity to give the scouts all the necessary knowledge and skills to complete the skills for their Oceanography merit badge.

Goochland - Jun 23-Aug 9, 2013 - Westview on the James Campground features an 8-week residential camp for children ages 6-14 as well as a high-adventure camp for 13-16 year olds. Enjoy a 35-foot climbing wall, a low ropes challenge and other challenges.
Richmond - Jun 10-Aug 23, 2013 - Peak Experiences Indoor Rock Climbing Center's Passages Adventure Camp was voted "Richmond's Best Overnight Camp" three years in a row! This is the largest indoor rock climbing facility on the East Coast with more than 14,000 square feet of climbing surface and 50-foot climbing walls.

Wise - Jun 16-Aug 9, 2013 - The Appalachian Wilderness Adventure Program at Camp Bethel operates a youth summer camp for ages 5-19 featuring exciting outdoor/indoor games, tubing, canoeing and whitewater rafting, a challenging ropes course and confidence-building activities. Summer Camp programs include both a day camp and week-long resident camp. Amenities include 165 woodland acres, a small recreational lake, eight go-karts, full size gymnasium with a 24-foot indoor climbing wall.
