Don’t miss the historic Town of Ashland, with its unique shops and restaurants and two National Register of Historic Places districts.

Make your first stop the Ashland/Hanover Visitor Center on the tracks. The historic building was built in 1923 and was originally the RF&P Train Station. Make sure to grab a Self-Guided Walking Tour of Ashland brochure. You can also get information on Scotchtown, Hanover Tavern, Civil War Battlefield sites, unique shops, art galleries, antiques, Bass Pro Shop, Kings Dominion and great places to eat.
