Hampton

Hampton is located on the Virginia Peninsula in the Hampton Roads region of southeastern Virginia. It is bounded on the north and east by the Chesapeake Bay and on the south by the Hampton Roads Harbor.

From the sea to the stars, Hampton's got it!

Hampton

The Hampton area features a variety of historical, cultural and recreational activities and attractions. The Virginia Air & Space Center at Langley is popular with visitors interested in aeronautics and astronautics. The Casemate Museum at Fort Monroe chronicles the imprisonment of Confederate President Jefferson Davis and the Fort's role during the Civil War. Sea lovers will enjoy the Cousteau Society headquarters, too.

While in Hampton, take advantage of an array of water-related activities, such as the harbor tours aboard the 65-foot "Miss Hampton," Buckroe Beach and fishing in the Chesapeake Bay. NASCAR fans can enjoy Late Model and Grand Stock races at Langley Speedway.

One of the most popular events in Virginia is the Hampton Jazz Festival at the Hampton Coliseum.
