Nearly a dozen college and university campuses line the Route 7 "Learning Corridor," which is the highest concentration of post-secondary academic institutions in Virginia and offers plenty of opportunities for cultural, educational and sporting activities. Loudoun's shopping is diverse and plentiful, too, with Dulles Town Center and Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets being popular with locals and visitors alike.

Loudoun has successfully blended modern amenities with heritage and tradition. Enjoy equestrian facilities, wineries, golf courses and beautiful hiking and biking trails. Loudoun's Wine Trail,right in the heart of Hunt Country includes nine wineries.

Many Civil War sites and historic landmarks are in Loudoun County, such as Morven Park, Oatlands Plantation and Dodona Manor. The region is filled with unique rural experiences, too, such as the popular Loudoun County Farm Tours.
