<description>The Mt. Rogers Fire Dept. in Whitetop is the setting for this day devoted to the Ramp (a wild leek). Mountain Arts &amp; Crafts and traditional Mountain Music are featured, but the highlight of the day is the Ramp Eating Contest. For those who want just a &apos;taste&apos; of ramps, a BBQ chicken dinner is offered with fried potatoes and ramps. Ramp Eating Contest begins at 4 pm. Always the 3rd Sunday in May!</description>
