Nationally-sanctioned event held at Heritage Park in Isle of Wight County Historic activities - authentic Confederate earthworks, battle reenactments, sutlers offering authentic wares, live artillery fire, cavalry charges, and military encampments.</description>

<description>The APVA and Isle of Wight Historical Society presents the Third Annual Patriot&apos;s Day Celebration. Clay Jenkinson of "The Thomas Jefferson Hour" portrays Thomas Jefferson in a debate with Alexander Hamilton played by William Chrystal. Reenactors perform throughout Main Street including a duel, pipe and drum corps performances and Jamestown character performances.</description>

This year&apos;s guest speaker is Mr. Robert Fulgham, a descendant who&apos;s family in the 1600&apos;s deeded the land on which the church stands to the Vestry. Following the service,will be an old fashioned ice cream social on the grounds.</description>
