Fall in Shenandoah County

Day 1:

Take Rt. 11 into Woodstock to enjoy the fall foliage and sprawling fields before stopping for dinner at The Other Place where you can enjoy great burgers and brats and unwind over their great selection of craft brews. Then head over to Seven Bends Lodge or Shenandoah River Lodge to settle in and enjoy a night looking at the stars in your own vacation rental home.

Day 2:

Wake up and enjoy a breakfast at At Home Bistro, a quaint bistro in the heart of Strasburg. Afterwards, enjoy a scenic drive.Take Route 55 west out of Strasburg to Route 600 (Back Road) South and head west to Bryce Resort on routes 42 and 263. There, you can enjoy lunch at the Restaurant at Bryce Resort or Fireside Grill before speeding down the zipline for to view the fall colors from above. Stop at Sals Italian Bistro in Edinburg on your way back to town for authentic Italian cuisine.

Day 3:

Swing by Sweet Blessings Bakery & Café just south of Woodstock to stock up on delicious sandwiches on freshly baked croissants and other delectable sweet treats to enjoy on top of the Woodstock Tower overlooking the seven bends of the Shenandoah River. Enjoy a stroll through downtown Woodstock before another short hike on Storybook Trail overlooking the Page Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains.
