A traditional family park for more than 60 years, Douthat is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for the role its design played in the development of parks nationwide. Douthat has a sandy beach, boat and bike rentals, stocked 50 acre lake, campgrounds, restaurant, a gift shop, a camp store, two fully furnished lodges that sleep 15 and 18 guests each, and hiking and biking trails.
