  • Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts

    Wolf Trap

    Visit Vienna for musical events presented at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. The outdoor amphitheater presents more than 90 performances of every musical genre each summer, as well as educational programs, artist master classes and special events.

    Wolf Trap's Summer Season features performances from pop, country, folk and blues to orchestra, dance theater and opera from the end of May through the first weekend of September. 

    Wolf Trap's Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods features 70 performances throughout the summer, with two performances a day on Tuesdays through Saturdays! All performances are recommended for children in kindergarten through 6th grades.

    Claude Moore Colonial Farm National Park offers hands-on experience with a colonial farm representative of the American Revolutionary War time period. Visit with the animals and give some chores a try.

    See the Potomac River course through Mather Gorge in Great Falls National Park. Closely monitor children and dogs, as this area is not a swimming hole and the fast moving currents below the surface are deadly.
