    Colonial Beach - June 12-14 - Potomac River Festival - Potomac River Festival, an annual tradition in Colonial Beach for over 60 years! Takes place each year during the 2nd weekend in June.

    St. Paul - June 12-20 - Mountains of Music Homecoming - The Crooked Road's Mountains of Music Homecoming is an annual event to celebrate the music, heritage and culture of westernmost Virginia.

    Tazewell - June 13 - Annual Back of the Dragon Day - The Back of the Dragon Day, is when the dragon awakens in the spring festival centered around sports cars and motorcycle celebrating 32 miles, and 260 curves that bear the name.

    Big Stone Gap - June 18-20, 25-27 - Trail of the Lonesome Pine Outdoor Drama - The Trail of the Lonesome Pine is the longest running outdoor drama in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the official Outdoor Drama of Virginia.

    Richlands - June 26-27 - Freedom Festival - The Freedom Festival is a unique combination of events, characters & activities that focus on history, local Appalachian culture, musical entertainment, fireworks & patriotism.

    Dinwiddie - June 4-6 - Dinwiddie Music Festival - Experience the Dinwiddie Music Festival at the Virginia Motorsports Park June 4th - June 6th 2015. Artists including Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent, Grass Cats and many more!!

    Glen Allen - June 4 - George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic at Innsbrook After Hours - The Innsbrook After Hours Concert series benefits the American Constitution Spirit Foundation and the Innsbrook Foundation.

    Charlottesville - June 6 - Early Summer Arboretum Walk at Monticello - Tour of the summer happenings with plants at the Saunders-Monticello Trail Arboretum.

    Charlottesville - June 9 - Alabama Shakes - With special guest Strand of Oaks.

    Forest - June 12-14 - Endstation Theatre Company presents Two Gentlemen of Virginia - Theater al fresco on the lawn at Poplar Forest. Enjoy special performances of "Two Gentlemen of Virginia," an original adaptation of Shakespeare's masterpiece.

    Altavista - June 13 - Made in the Shade Craft Beer Festival - Enjoy the day relaxing in the shade of Avoca's century-old trees, sampling beer, listening to music, eating and shopping at craft and merchandise booths.

    Lyncbhurg - June 14 - Lynchburg to Petersburg Steam Train Excursion with N&W 611 - Enjoy a 260-mile roundtrip excursion between Lynchburg and Petersburg behind the recently-restored streamlined steam locomotive N&W 611.

    Richmond - June 18-20 - Festival of the Laugh - A comedy contest to crown the Funniest Stand-Up Comedian in Virginia. Cash prizes and fame await the winners.

    Lynchburg - June 20-27 - Lynchburg Restaurant Week - Lynchburg Restaurant Week is a cultural event that raises awareness of Central Virginia's excellent independent restaurant community.

    Palmyra - June 27 - BBQ, Bands & Brews - A family event featuring great food, live bands, micro brews from Virginia breweries, a Kid Zone, plus 40+ assorted vendors.

     

     

    Shenandoah Valley

    Clifton Forge - June 5 - The Celtic Martins at the Masonic Amphitheatre - The kick off concert for Alleghany Highlands Heritage Day.

    Woodstock - June 12 - Massanutten Antique Tractor & Gas Engine Show - Free Live Music, fair and farm show. Antique Displays, tractor Pulls, ham Radio Demos and blacksmithing Demos.

    Winchester - June 13-14 - Hop Blossom Craft Beer Festival - The Hop Blossom Craft Beer Festival is Winchester’s first beer festival on the Old Town Mall. The festival is geared toward educating and exposing participants to the growing popularity and love for great craft beer. We will be featuring 40+ craft breweries from the local area and beyond. Enjoy live entertainment too!

    Roanoke - June 20 - African American Rail Heritage Day - African-American Rail Heritage Day. Celebration of African Americans’ important contributions to the railroad. The event will be family-oriented during the day with music and activities.

    Norfolk - June 26-27 - Hampton Roads PRIDEfest now in it's 27th year, is the largest annual LGBT festival in Southeastern Virginia. PrideFest combines entertainment, vendors, and fun activities for all ages. PrideFest attracts thousands of visitors and brings together local residents, families, community leaders, civic organizations, and businesses to rally for and celebrate equality.

    Hampton - June 26-28 - Hampton Jazz Festival - Celebrating 47 years of music, the Hampton Jazz Festival attracts the nation's top blues, soul, pop and jazz performers. Music lovers from across the country make an annual pilgrimage for this talent-filled weekend that has become as much a social ritual as a weekend of entertainment.

    Dublin - June 13 - Claytor Lake Summer Festival - Enjoy food vendors, arts and crafts, wine tasting, a car show, live entertainment, fireworks at dusk and much more. Parking is $10 or $5 plus five cans of food per vehicle. Parking is free for those with annual parking passes.

    Abingdon - June 13 - Southwest Virginia Wine Festival - Experience the award-winning wines, cider, mead and beer.

    Critz - June 20 - Bushels and Barrels Local Food, Wine and Beer Festival - The Festival will feature "CC Coates Band", "Firecracker Jam", "Chatham County Line", and "The Northerners". Five local wineries and two breweries. Great food and fun!

    Mouth of Wilson - June 20 - Wayne C. Henderson Music Festival and Guitar Competition - On the third Saturday of every June, the Wayne C. Henderson Music Festival and Guitar Competition features some of the region's best traditional musicians.

    Pearisburg - June 20 - Pearisburg Festival in the Park - The 31st annual Pearisburg Festival in the Park will feature musical entertainment, crafters, vendors, rides, a farmers market, and fun for the whole family!

    Wytheville - June 20-27 - Chautauqua Festival - The Chautauqua Festival is an 8 day family oriented arts and music festival.

    Purcellville - June 19-21 - Blooming Hill Lavender Festival - First Annual Blooming Hill Lavender Festival here at the farmlet and destined to become a favorite event. Teas, tours, lectures and vendors are all in the plan. Also, we open the field for pick your own fresh lavender bouquet at .15 cents/stem or $12.00/bundle of 75 stems. Make your own lavender wand, $10.00/person.

    Alexandria - June 22 - An Evening with David Crosby - Legendary singer-songwriter David Crosby has announced a series of intimate solo acoustic tour dates for June and July, where he will perform with only his voice and guitar.
