Smell and taste the tantalizing aromas of Barbecue Pork, Barbecue Chicken, Barbecue Ribs, Barbecue Smoked Sausage and lots more at Skyland Resort. Our culinary team will have some delectable foods on hand which are sure to please your palette. And August is ”National S'mores Month” so we’ll have an ultimate S'mores Station for kids of all ages.

Live entertainment includes High Ground Blue Grass Band and the Shenandoah Valley Cloggers. 

We'll also have pony rides for the kids and old fashion children's activities like hula hoop contest, watermelon seed spitting contest, face painting and craft time.  Local vendors will also be on sight with their homemade items.

Join us at Skyland for a fun-filled day of entertainment and good food. There is no admission fee to the event but there is a $15.00 Park entrance fee which is valid for 7 days. Plan a weekend in Shenandoah and overnight at Skyland in a rustic, cozy cabin or a comfortable traditional style room.

Skyland is located at mile 41.7 and 42.5 on Skyline Drive. Follow signs to the historic lower level area.
