Join us for the Third Annual Bluegrass, Barbecue & Brew Festival at Red Hill... embracing the flavors and sounds of southern Virginia at the home of Virginia's passionate patriot and fiery fiddler!
At Patrick Henry's Red Hill, last home and burial place of America's first patriot, visitors will enjoy the beautiful grounds while listening to three bluegrass bands, eating delicious local barbecue, shopping with a variety of artisans and enjoying craft beer and ale from regional breweries .
The Bluegrass bands performing this year are:
- Balsam Range of North Carolina
- Darrell Webb Band of Tennesee
- Wells Clan String Band of Lynchburg, Virginia
Music will begin at 11:45 and be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating for the bands!
We will be featuring Virginia craft beer and cider at our festival including the following:
- Apocalypsy Ale Works
- Legend Brewing Company
- Devil's Backbone Brewing Company
- Starr Hill Brewing Company
- Bold Rock Cidery
Docents will be interpreting Henry's reconstructed home, original law office and other historical buildings throughout the day.
