Featured at the opening concert of this year's classical music festival are the Festival Orchestra and soloists Diane Phoenix-Neal (viola), Joan Griffing (violin), Ralph Allen (violin), Sandra Gerster (oboe), Phillip Chase Hawkins (trumpet), and Mary Kay Adams (flute) in an all-Bach concert: Brandenburg Concertos #2, #3, and #6; Violin and Oboe Concerto in C Minor; and Violin and Viola Concerto in G Major. Kenneth Nafziger, artistic director/conductor.

Celebrate the 23rd annual festival June 14-21 with music from all eras in orchestral, choral, solo, and chamber music settings. Events include ten concerts, youth programs, a Road Scholar program, and the Virginia Baroque Performance Academy.
