Enjoy the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival!
Featured at the opening concert of this year's classical music festival are the Festival Orchestra and soloists Diane Phoenix-Neal (viola) and Marvin Mills (organ). Works to be performed are: C.P.E. Bach's Symphony #3; Handel's Water Music, Suite #3; Telemann's Viola Concerto in G; Rameau's Suite from Les Indes Galantes; Zelenka's Hipocondria in A Major à 7; and a J.S. Bach organ work, TBA. Kenneth Nafziger, artistic director/conductor.
Celebrate the 22nd annual festival June 8-15 with music from all eras in orchestral, choral, and chamber music settings. Events include ten concerts, youth programs, a Road Scholar program, and the Virginia Baroque Performance Academy.
Admission Fee: $25 (adult), $20 (seniors), and $5 (age 22 and under); $2 higher at the door; discounts for 3-concert packages and groups
