Aircraft manufactureres and distributors will attend to sell and demonstrate their aircraft. Come learn how to get into the air yourself. With the new Light Sport airplanes and "drivers license medical". it's easier than ever.
Watch radio-controlled electric models fly. Examine aircraft up close; talk to pilots and builders. Visit the Youth Tent for hands-on activities and a session with a flight simulator. Kids will enjoy launching "bottle rockets." Kids and their parents can sign up for Sunday's free Young Eagles flights starting at 2pm.
Attend aviation-related forum talks and participate in "hands on" workshops.
Enjoy a pancake breakfast daily 8:00am to 11:00 am and other food during the day.
Aircraft will be flying in and departing both days. Skydivers will be jumping. See VirginiaFlyIn.org for photos, maps, updates. The airport is only 4 miles south of downtown Suffolk.
RV and tent camping areas available, some with electricity. Reserve an RV camp site on the web site. Pets on a leash allowed only in the RV Camping area. Free car parking.
