The Taubman Museum of Art's Art Venture is an innovative, exploratory gallery for youth and families. Visitors to Art Venture can paint, draw, build, connect music with art, investigate 3D printing and printmaking, create sculptures, display art work, and much more. This interactive hands-on learning environment includes continuously changing programming that engages children ages 12 months to 17 years and connects to the Museum's exhibitions and permanent collections.
Groups of 10 or more wishing to spend time in Art Venture as part of a field trip, community summer camp, or spring or winter break program should call ahead to reserve group time. Additional staff and art supplies will be provided to guide your group through the variety of activities available. This special guided session lasts 60 minutes. The fee is $5 per child, and chaperones are free. One adult chaperone per five children is required. Group reservations should be made at least three weeks in advance. To arrange, please contact Katrina King, tours and visitor engagement coordinator, at 540.204.4131 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Art Venture hours of operation are Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 12-5 p.m. For more information, visit www.TaubmanMuseum.org.
