Cabin Capital And The Great Outdoors

Available in all seasons, cabins can accommodate girlfriend getaways, family reunions and motorcoach groups. From riverside to mountaintops we love sharing breathtaking views with visitors and encourage you to cozy up in our cabins.

Day One:

The Shenandoah River is one of our most special treasures. Low Water Bridge near Egypt Bend is a local favorite for putting in canoes, kayaks and inner tubes to float down this legendary river. Shenandoah River Outfitters and others accommodate large groups.

Agriculture is one of Page County’s proudest attributes. We encourage visitors to enjoy our locally grown products at our farmer’s markets, farm stands and local restaurants. Want to get your ride on? Page County provides ample opportunities to ride astride a sure-footed horse.

Hawksbill Greenway is one of the unique Page County treasures. Winding around Hawksbill Creek, visitors encounter hand-painted murals by local artists, plus benches, picnic areas, memorials and wildlife. The greenway is great for a stretch, a run or a bike ride for health or pleasure. Bring your binoculars and birding life list for a visit to Hawksbill Creek: A local favorite fishing spot and swimming hole, the community enjoys Hawksbill during all seasons. You never know what types of birds you may find, from great blue herons to kingfishers and ducks. This creek is a unique place to unwind.

Day Two:

Visit the site of the historic Luray Train Depot. Dating back to 1866, the tracks run by the restored depot that serves as the office of the Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center. Within walking distance are several unique restaurants and shops to enjoy.

While in Luray discover Luray Caverns, a “must-see” U.S. Natural Landmark and subterranean wonderland, noted for the profuse variety of formation and unsurpassed natural colors. Explore the complex that also features family friendly nostalgic exhibits such as the Car & Carriage Caravan, restored farming community at the Luray Valley Museum and test your sense of direction in The Garden Maze. Make room for The Luray Fudge Company that still makes its fudge from an 1830s recipe or enjoy a snack at The Stalactite Café. Luray Caverns is an experience for all to remember.

Join the locals for a favorite getaway at Lake Arrowhead. From swimming, fishing and boating on the lake to exploring the surrounding nature trail, this area has been a long-time local pas-time. We encourage you to stop in the Fairview General Store along the way, grab a packed lunch or hand-dipped ice cream to enjoy.
