Virginia Battle Reenactments 2006

Black soldiers participate in a battle reenactmentDid you know that more major battles during the Civil War took place in Virginia — the Capital of the Confederacy — than in any other state? Reenactment troops invite you to witness upcoming battles, ask questions and participate in camp life of the Civil War soldiers and their families. This year also marks the 225th anniversary of the Siege of Yorktown and the battle that ended the Revolutionary War at the very site where it all happened in Virginia!

Women's Ski Seminar at Wintergreen Resort

Based on the award-winning book Women Ski by Claudia Carbone, Wintergreen's two-day Women's Ski Seminar teaches how to ski like a woman and enjoy it. This seminar is for women who already know the basics of skiing.
