Washington County, Virginia:

Washington County is located in the far western part of the Blue Ridge Highlands region of Virginia. The world famouns Barter Theater in Abingdon has delighted audiences for more than 50 years. It is part of the Abingdon Historic District, which is a Virginia Historic Landmark. Another attraction in this 20-square block district is the William King Regional Arts Center, an affiliate of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and the Arts Depot.
