Bordering the Shenandoah National Park - Shadow Mountain Escape (SME) is three private Timber Frame Structures located on 15 secluded acres in a beautiful "niche" of the Blue Ridge Mountains known as "Jewell Hollow". The primary timber frame structure is a unique duplex "Bear Dance" Lodge (Bumble Bee - Dragon Fly cabins) cleverly designed with no walls shared between the two independent dwellings. The Bear Dance Lodge has an observation tower, which provides a striking view of the ridge line and surrounding forest for guests to enjoy. The Butterfly is Shadow Mountain Escapešs newest addition. The stand-alone unit is the most secluded - it rests on the second level of the timber frame "salt box" barn structure.
