A member of the League of Historic American Theatres, The Lincoln Theatre in Marion, Virginia, is one of three existing Art Deco Mayan Revival-style theaters in America. The Lincoln is a Virginia Historic Landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Originally built in 1929 as a vaudeville and movie house, The Lincoln Theatre hosted stars such as Roy Rogers, Ralph Stanley, Roy Acuff, and other legends. Through a focused community initiative and fundraising of more than $1.8 million, the building was fully renovated. The theater reopened in 2004 as a presenter and a programming facility. Today's theater boasts state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems and six beautifully restored historic murals.
