This memorial is dedicated to all the war dead from Mecklenburg County from the Revolutionary War to the War on Terrorism. The monument contains the names of 578 citizens who paid the supreme sacrifice. It is open year round and may be seen in Clarksville, Virginia at the intersections of Routes 15, 49, and 58 business. Memorial Bricks may be purchased to honor or memorialize a veteran of any area who served honorably in this nations military service. Application forms are available on the site.
