The United States Army Transportation Museum is the only museum dedicated to depicting the history of Army Transportation. The story of the Army's Transportation Corps, from horse-drawn wagons to all-terrain armored vehicles, is told through exhibits, models, dioramas, and videos.
Located on Fort Eustis, Virginia, home to the Army Transportation Corps, the museum features a 50,000 square foot main building and four outdoor parks. The Aviation Pavilion highlights army aviation with rotary and fixed wing aircraft. The Marine Park features vessels and amphibious craft, while the Cargo Yard contains trucks and other cargo handling equipment. The Rail Yard includes locomotives and other rail rolling stock from World War II, Korea, and the Cold War.
