The Museum of Military History houses a unique collection of military artifacts, pictures, weapons and other memorabilia from the American Revolutionary War, Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Desert Storm, and the Cold War. The displays are touching tributes to the sacrifices made by men and women for our freedom. Displayed in elegant settings, the cases bring to life the everyday situations of military life from all branches of service in the 1700s, 1800s and 1900s. This is a privately owned collection of uniforms, weapons and memorabilia that spans every war in the nation's history. It includes artifacts that range from a wooden crutch and pewter canteen from the Civil War era to a Japanese prayer flag and saki bottles dating back to World War II.
