Yorktown Celebrates Christmas: Illumination and Christmas Tree Lighting, 7:30 pm. Yorktown is aglow in the holiday spirit with the Illumination followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting at Riverwalk Landing. Entertainment begins at the Victory Monument at 6:30 pm followed by the procession of lights through historic Yorktown to the site of the tree lighting. Holiday entertainment and a visit by Santa Claus add to the joy of the occasion. 425 Water Street. Free.
