Locality: Mathews County Horn Harbor Marina 308 Railway Road Port Haywood, VA 23138 The Mathews Maritime Foundaion invites the passionate waterlover to attend the Heritage Day Festival at Horn Harbor Marina. The event celebrates the long tradition of the local watermen of Mathews County. Come loaded with your Bay history questionbs and introduce yourself to a waterman and they will regale you with stories from their past. Demonstrations and boat building, along with a parade of boat within Horn Harbor, are the focus of the day. Come experience the working history of the Chesapeake Bay. Food and crafts and entertain abound and you kick back and enjoy the day. Accessibility:
