Locality: Virginia Beach City Parking Lot, CROC'S 9th Street Bistro 620 19th Street Virginia Beach, VA 23451 FROM TRADITONAL TO UNIQUE, FARMERS MARKET SERVES UP FLAVORS OF THANKGIVING Thanksgiving chefs looking for homemade fare and local delicacies will find all the trimmings for the holiday at a special Old Beach Farmers Market November 21. A dozen vendors will offer homegrown, home cooked and hard-to-find accompaniments to complete Thanksgiving feasts. These include Lynnhaven oysters, Eastern Shore clams, Hayman sweet potatoes, collards, Virginia wines and cheese including seasonal baked goods ranging from sweet potato biscuits and pumpkin pie to roasted apple cognac cake. The Old Beach Farmers Market is the state’s first outdoor market certified Virginia Green in a program that promotes eco-friendly practices.
