Cristina's Cafe - Strasburg
Strasburg, VA

Virginia Green is the Commonwealth of Virginia’s campaign to promote environmentally-friendly practices in all aspects of Virginia’s tourism industry. Virginia Green has established "core activities" specific to each sector of tourism, and these practices are considered the required minimum for participation in the program. However, Virginia Green encourages its participants to reduce their environmental impacts in all aspects of their operations, and this profile provides a full list of all their “green” activities. These are the activities that guests / customers can expect to find when they visit this facility.

Cristina's Cafe - Strasburg

Cristina's Cafe is small female owned coffee house & cafe in historic Strasburg, VA. We have implemented Buy Fresh - Buy Local purchasing when ever possible for meats, produce and coffee beans use in our cafe.

The beautiful surroundings of the Shenandoah Valley motivates us to do more than our fair share to insure future generations have the pleasure of enjoying the blue skies, mountain views and clear waters of the Shenandoah River.

Menu items are driven by the availability of local in-season produce to allow us to utilize our own garden and nearby farmer's markets. Eggs and meat products are sourced locally, as well as a local coffee roaster. Employee best practice waste reduction awareness is an on-going program within the cafe.
