Blue Mountain Escape
Virginia Green is the Commonwealth of Virginia’s campaign to promote environmentally-friendly practices in all aspects of Virginia’s tourism industry. Virginia Green has established "core activities" specific to each sector of tourism, and these practices are considered the required minimum for participation in the program. However, Virginia Green encourages its participants to reduce their environmental impacts in all aspects of their operations, and this profile provides a full list of all their “green” activities. These are the activities that guests / customers can expect to find when they visit this facility.
Blue Mountain Escape
Blue Mountain Escape is a unique 4 bedroom chalet, sitting on 7.5 acres of wooded mountainside with panoramic views of the Shenandoah Mountains just 60 miles west of Washington DC. A place to relax, revive & rejuvenate from our everyday busy life.
We decided to join Virginia Green in order to do our share to conserve the environment for our further and our children’s future.
Blue Mountain Escape will do its best to locally produced products, promote local small businesses and protect the natural wildlife habit that we live in.
