Confetti Caffe & Gelato
Virginia Beach, VA
Virginia Green is the Commonwealth of Virginia’s campaign to promote environmentally-friendly practices in all aspects of Virginia’s tourism industry. Virginia Green has established "core activities" specific to each sector of tourism, and these practices are considered the required minimum for participation in the program. However, Virginia Green encourages its participants to reduce their environmental impacts in all aspects of their operations, and this profile provides a full list of all their “green” activities. These are the activities that guests / customers can expect to find when they visit this facility.
Confetti Caffe & Gelato
Confetti Caffe & Gelato is an Italian-inspired "fast casual" caffe featuring oven-toasted sandwiches, sweet crepes, soup, garden salads, and of course our signature Confetti Gelato. Our gelato is made fresh daily using local and/or the very finest ingredients available, all natural milk, and authentic artisan techniques that have been perfected in Italy for decades.
We are concerned about the environment and started working hard to reduce waste even before we were aware of the Virginia Green program. Customers noticed our "green" efforts and recommended that we become certified.
We recently started using Marva Maid Dairy for all of our dairy products because they are local and all natural. We are hoping to partner with local farmers this Spring to begin doing the same with our fruit and vegetables.
