Historical Significance
The museum is a large, old home with several restored outbuildings including three log structures. The complex features a number of historical and genealogical books, records, letters, documents, photos and paintings of early settlers in southwest
Virginia. It specializes in artifacts circa 1810 to 1865.

The museum specializes in artifacts circa 1810 to 1865. The complex is a large home and several restored outbuildings including 3 log buildings. Several sections of the main house are also log. The museum features letters, documents, paintings, furniture, photos, business records and objects relevant to the new river valley and Southwest Virginia.
The earliest documents of Pulaski County are stored here due to the proximity of the first county courthouse.
Sunday open at 1:30 PM.
