Historical Significance
Begun in 1842 as Augusta Female Seminary, this is Staunton's oldest surviving school. Beginning in the 1790s, Staunton began its long heritage as an educational center with many schools operating here from the late 1700s into the 20th century. Stuart Hall School, located nearby, also dates from the 1840s.
Mary Baldwin College Today
Mary Baldwin College provides dining services for students, faculty, and guest. Menus are wide ranging to accommodate our diverse population including menutainments and holiday events. We also provide catering servies for on campus organizations and the community. Daily menus and catering options can be found on our website. We also support VA green intiative.
