From December though mid-March, visitors can embark on a wildlife watching adventure, sponsored by the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center. See humpback and fin whales in their natural habitat as they migrate off the coast of Virginia Beach. Humpback whales have made their trip along the shores of Virginia Beach for more than a decade, weighing up to 70 tons and ranging up to 85 feet long.  The fin whale also migrates along the Virginia Beach coast boasting speeds of up to 23 mph. Marine life sightings are incredible, with Whale sightings our number one goal. You may also see brown pelicans, northern gannets, double-crested cormorants and other sea birds, all of which make a dramatic show while feeding on schools of fish.

Winter Wildlife Boat Trips are available from late December through March at the Virginia Beach Fishing Center at Rudee Inlet

"Striped Bass Capital of the World" - that's what you can call Virginia Beach these days. Come see why when you book a charter and ride the Atlantic waves to fisherman's glory.
