The City of Hampton held it's 5th Annual Pride Party on the Peninsula, Wed, June 19 downtown Hampton at the historic 1920’s Hampton Carousel. This Free event included delicious hors d’oeuvres by local eateries including Brown Chicken Brown Cow, Stillwater Tavern, Glazed Doughnuts, Hampton Marina Hotel and The Grey Goose. A complimentary drink ticket was given to the first 300 guests! Emcee, Hampton's own Queen Mary led a troupe of fantastic performers including Dianna Rhoss, Celestia Cox and Keresa Karrington.
At 7:30 pm, Pride-goers enjoyed a Drag Cruise on the Hampton River with Emcee Jennifer Warner w/ performers Gabrielle McQueen, Bianca Baker Starr and Naomi Black. Proceeds for the Drag Cruise benefiting Hampton Roads' LGBT Life Center.
